We can design any salt water rods for inshore or offshore including fly rods. All of our custom rods are built from products supplied by Batson Enterprises.

Components of your custom rod.

Blanks - Each custom rod blank is uniquely built for for the fishing application of your choosing. Each rod blank is defined by their power, action, material type and material configuration. There are over 500 rod blanks to choose from to provide you with a very specific type of rod to an all around rod. There is a huge range of fishing applications to choose from, having a custom rod builder gives you the resources to built your perfect rod with costume components to fit all your needs.

Reel seats - We offer a large selection of reel seats. Reel seat material can be Aluminum, Toray Graphite filled Nylon, Graphite fiberglass filled Nylon, Woven Texalium fiberglass with woven aluminum or 3K Woven Graphite. They come in a range of colors, sizes and types. Each designed to compliment your rod blank.

Guides - There are a lot of variables when picking out guides. This will depend on the type of water you are fishing in, the type of line you are using and action of the rod blank. Guides are made of SS316 Stainless Steel, SS304 Stainless Steel, Aluminum, SS316 Stainless Steel, Brass, and Titanium. Depending on the rod type and the application it will be used for, your rod builder will assist you on choosing the correct size, material and placement of your guides. We use ALPS and FORECAST guides from Barton Enterprises.

Grips - Grips come in a variety of materials, Woven Graphic, Carbon fiber, Super Grade Cork, EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), Nylon, EPDM (environmentally friendly version of Hypaton), Texalium and WINN. Multiple types of grip material gives the buyer a large range of type, size and color to production the best functioning rod plus allowing for personalization of each custom rod.

Thread Colors - Personalizing your custom rod with the thread colors is endless. It doesn’t matter if it is one rod or unlimited rods choosing your color pattern adds to the uniqueness of each and every custom rod that is built.

Customization - Picking thread color, personal names, dates or special graphics can be added to the rod to complete the customization of your completed rod.
